tala storytelling collective
From creating immersive art + science exhibits on astronomy to designing intersectional storytelling trainings for thousands across the world. From hosting podcasts on musical theater to scriptwriting about climate change for TV. From recording solo musical projects that incorporate synths and speech samples to curating reading curricula for the next generation of youth leaders. From producing original reporting about community-led resistance to helping strengthen online/offline communities for social justice.
ALL THIS WORK HAS LED US TO YOU.
We imagine creative interventions as a collective of cultural workers alongside organizations seeking to make another world possible.
From narrative analysis for new campaigns to co-curating art exhibits and musical installations, from scriptwriting for podcasts and TV to reaching new audiences through storytelling projects, all the way to delivering global workshops to your supporter base and customizing strategic capacity development for your team on how to communicate your impact in compelling ways beyond spreadsheets and end-of-year reports — our dream is to make world-building irresistible.
Our collective
tala is powered by a small founding team. We lean on a collective of cultural workers and collaborators rooted in the Global South.
We take pride in designing tala from the ground up with collective principles in mind: our cooperative model, our commitment to income redistribution, our values, and our mutual aid fund.
Our operations from the very beginning are designed so that every PHP of surplus income from all engagements goes to a solidarity fund for our growing collective of artists, researchers, cultural workers, and community partners.
